Israel is the land of milk and honey – but many times it is difficult to buy that milk and honey.     Due to low income levels in Israel, most families depend on two sources of income in order to survive.  Many women work long hours out of the home in order to meet the demands of their growing families. As a result, they are left with no choice but to hire babysitters – an unavoidable and additional expense that further reduces their net take-home pay.
Yad Ezrah saw the need to provide a solution to the problem.  Yad Ezrah established a large day care center and kindergarten which opens very early in the morning and provides care until late afternoon.  This service allows young mother to have the ability to work longer hours, thereby increasing their income potential.  The children are supervised by talented and caring mothers who treat each child as if it were their own.
Thousands of children have received loving care since the inception of Yad Ezrah’s kindergarten and day care center, which first opened their doors over three decades ago.  Plans are underway to open similar day care centers at strategic locations to boost the income potential of many more working parents.

It is my wish, hope, and prayer that Hashem will answer your personal prayers for all that is good, and He will awaken your heart to do acts of benevolence and charity. May you thereby merit to be a partner and a witness to our final redemption.
