The words “Pesach is around the corner” brings trepidation to the average Jewish family, despite their financial situation. But for the poor and needy in Israel, it brings fear. In a time of celebration at being let out of Egyptian bondage through the miracles and chesed of Hashem, these needy families feel a financial bondage that they alone cannot break out of. They are slaves to poverty.
In steps Yad Ezrah to break the chains of desperation by providing a complete list of goods needed to make a celebratory Pesach seder with smiles all around. The food provided allows each family to enjoy a healthy meal throughout Yom Tov.
Over 10,000 families are provided with chicken, potatoes, vegetables, matzot, wine, fruit, flour, eggs, oil, sugar, etc… at various distribution centers that are manned by Yad Ezrah volunteers. The span and scope of the operation can be compared to a miracle. But the real miracle is the extent of contributions from people in Israel, the U.S. and across the globe. When someone donates to Yad Ezrah’s Pesach Project, poor adults and children eat on Pesach. It is that simple.
Be a part of the miracle of Pesach and bring freedom and happiness to those who want to sing at their seder. Next year….no, this year in Yerushalayim.

והנה כל היסוד של שלום הבית היהודי הוא היסוד של כלל ישראלת כי הפרט הוא הכללת ועל ידי התחזקות והתייסדות הטובה של הפרט מתחזק הכלל כולו
From Reb Asher Freund
"It is my wish, hope and prayer that Hashem will answer your personal prayers for all that is good, and He will awaken your heart to do acts of benevolence and charity. May you thereby merit to be a partner and a witness to our final redemption."
