Understanding Yad Ezrah

The holy tzaddik and founder of Yad Ezrah, Rav Asher Freund zt”l, once said during a talk on Tisha BÁv תשמ”ב

“אם היה אצלנו כזו אחדות, לא היה צריך ליפול שום נפש מישראל…” –  “…If we had this type of אחדות, not one person would have fallen.”   The message is that if we had unconditional love for one another, there would never be a tragedy in Am Yisrael.

When Hamas committed utter genocide against the State of Israel, throwing Israel into war, Yad Ezrah decided to do our part in providing the Israeli soldiers with whatever we could.   The אחדות in the country and around the world is so wonderful to see.   We wanted to be a part of it as well.
We have been working with a caterer all year long to supply the needs of poor families under the Yad Ezrah umbrella at a very good price.   Having that connection, we decided to make delicious cooked food packages for the soldiers and deliver them to their bases regularly.   The Army soon found out that we were indeed fiscally reliable and good suppliers for this specific need.  They approached us and asked us to supply these meals directly to the Army.
So, we prepare the food and send it to the units that only have access to basic army rations but desire more.  We are also working with a great organization, Lev Echad, which has a large distribution center in Beer Sheva.  We send them deliciously prepared meals as well as dry goods and specific items upon request.  We will continue to provide these needs as long as we have the money to do so.
Please join us in making the sacrifice of our wonderful soldiers more durable.   Your donation will bring meals, water flasks, flashlights, knives, and much-needed personal hygiene products to the front lines.   Israel is fighting for survival and it is time to do whatever is needed to win.
May GOD protect Israel and Jews everywhere.
